Woodbury Fire Update
The Rio Verde Fire District Wildland team returned from the Woodbury Fire on June 25th. The fire has now grown to more than 123,000 acres and is the 5th largest in Arizona History.

RVFD Deputy Chief Merrill's life was celebrated at CCV in Peoria. Chief Merrill was tragically killed May 25th in an auto accident - 3 short weeks after retiring. He will be greatly missed.
