The Rio Verde Fire District is planning a recruitment process to establish an eligibility list for future vacancies. If necessary, new hires could begin employment as civilians and attend a regional academy at a later date.  

Timeline:

  • Application deadline 11:59pm on Friday, March 21, 2025

  • Orientation opportunity on Wednesday, March 12th to learn about our organization

  • Interviews tentatively scheduled for the week of April 7th, 2025

The Rio Verde Fire District is planning a recruitment process to establish an eligibility list for future vacancies. To be considered for this process, applications must be received by 11:59 pm on Friday, March 21, 2025. Interviews are tentatively planned for the week of April 7, 2025.

Minimum Qualifications

 â€‹

  • Arizona EMT or CEP (CEP requires current ACLS and PALS or PEPP certification)

  • CPR for Healthcare Providers

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid Arizona Drivers' License

  • Successful completion of a CPAT from a licensed agency within the last 6 months  (for those currently employed with a Phoenix Regional Automatic Aid Agency, proof of successful Department Physical within the last 12 months may be accepted in lieu of CPAT)

  • Pre-employment MVD Record and Background Check

  • Pre-employment Drug Testing
